India vs South Africa : Rohit Sharma, a star Indian batsman, has become the country’s fourth player to score 20,000 runs in international cricket. He has been a prominent presence in white-ball formats since his debut and has routinely performed well in Test cricket. The veteran has more than 11,000 ODI runs, 4,301 in Tests, and 4,231 in 151 T20I innings. He now joins Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Rahul Dravid as the only Indians to have scored 20,000 runs in international competition.

India delivered a cutting performance with the ball in the third ODI against South Africa at Visakhapatnam’s ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, with Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna each taking four wickets. Proteas opener Quinton de Kock got the visitors off to a fantastic start, scoring 106 runs, but South Africa’s middle order failed to capitalise as wickets fell at regular intervals.
The struggling Temba Bavuma-led side scored 270 runs, thanks to a key cameo of 20 runs from Keshav Maharaj. South Africa required a flawless start with the ball to win the game and complete the series, but they fell short. In the absence of Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Gerald Coetzee, and Nandre Burger, their speed attack was lackluster, and the dew exacerbated the visitors’ problems.
