This comes amid mounting concern over the location of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder.
“There is no reality to the reports about his transfer from Adiala Jail,” said officials. Khan was described as “perfectly healthy and receiving complete medical attention.”
According to Geo TV, the authorities also dismissed rumors that his condition had deteriorated, calling them “baseless.”
The statement comes as social media is awash with unconfirmed accusations, including suggestions from accounts in Pakistan and Afghanistan that Khan was harmed or killed within the prison.

Khan has been in prison since August 2023 and is facing a number of allegations, including terrorism and corruption. The charges were filed after he was removed from office by a vote of no confidence in April 2022.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said
Meanwhile, defence minister Khawaja Asif said that the former prime leader was being kept in significantly more pleasant conditions than previous inmates.
“Verify the menu of the food that comes for him — it is not available even in a five-star hotel,” said Asif.
According to Geo TV, he added that Khan had access to a double bed, a velvet mattress, exercise equipment, and a television.
Recalling his own detention, he stated, “We slept on cold floors, ate jail food, and had only two blankets in January with no hot water,” accusing PTI officials of misrepresenting Khan’s situation.
“Fear God—no one owns time,” the defence minister stressed.
The suspicions grew when Khan’s three sisters were allegedly attacked by police officers outside Adiala Jail last week while attempting to contact him.

Noreen Niazi, one of the sisters, said that as they were peacefully protesting Khan’s health, streetlights were “abruptly switched off,” and then there was a “brutal and orchestrated assault.”
“We demonstrated nonviolently because we were worried about his health. We didn’t engage in any illegal activity, hinder public transportation, or block roadways. However, the streetlights in the vicinity were suddenly turned off without notice or protest, thereby leaving the situation in complete darkness. A vicious and planned attack by Punjab police officers ensued, Noreen Niazi told CNN.
“At the age of 71, I was seized by my hair, thrown violently to the ground, and dragged across the road, sustaining visible injuries,” she told the press.
Later, thousands of PTI supporters gathered outside the building to protest the government’s restrictions, which reportedly had blocked visits to the former prime minister for almost a month, and to seek permission to meet Khan.
The PTI says that security officers influenced Sohail Afridi, the chief minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, to turn down multiple requests to meet Khan.
