On November 23, 2025, renowned music composer and filmmaker Palash Muchhal is scheduled to wed Smriti Mandhana, the vice captain of the Indian women’s cricket team. The wedding festivities began on November 21 with the haldi ceremony. The mehendi and sangeet ceremonies were held on Saturday, November 22, 2025. On social media, a number of images and videos of the pair dancing together on stage during the pre-wedding celebrations have gone viral.

The now-viral video shows Smriti and Palash dancing to the popular song “Tenu Le Ke Main Jawanga” from the film Salaam-E-Ishq. In the video, the song “Sasural Main Jaavangi” plays in the background while Smriti wraps the garland around Palash’s neck.
