Honda Activa e : Earlier this year, Honda Motorcycle & Scooters India introduced the Activa e: and QC1 in India, marking their entry into the electric two-wheeler market. The Japanese automaker’s EVs were anticipated to receive positive feedback. Data from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) indicates differently, though. According to what is known, the company hasn’t made any of these models since August 2025.
Full information for Honda Activa e and QC1 electric vehicles
Honda produced 11,168 Activa e: and QC1 electric vehicles between February and July of 2025. However, the company has a significant volume of unsold inventory with just 5,201 units (46.6%) supplied to dealers, which may account for the decision to halt production.

Of the 5,201 units, 740 were Activa e: and 4,461 (86%) were QC1 variants. The QC1’s lower cost and the extra feature of a portable charger may be the main reasons for its far better sales than the Activa e. The Activa e, on the other hand, is totally dependent on Honda’s interchangeable battery system.
The Honda Activa e has a range of 102 km on a single charge and starts at Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom). In contrast, the QC1 has a range of 80 miles on a single charge and starts at Rs 90,022 (ex-showroom).

This is consistent with consumer preferences in the market for electric two-wheelers. Similar products are offered by many of the leading EV manufacturers, including as Bajaj, TVS, Ather, Ola, and Hero MotoCorp.
Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chandigarh are the six cities where the Honda QC1 is available. This availability surpasses that of the Activa e:, which could account for the QC1’s higher sales. However, the sales potential that comes with being available nationwide is far greater than having a presence in just three or six places.
