Best Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi says"Operation Sindoor was just a trailer

General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff, delivered a strong and unambiguous message regarding Operation Sindoor, emphasizing that the 88-hour mission was “just a trailer.” He stated that when a country fosters state-sponsored terrorism, it becomes a big problem for India, which remains focused on growth and prosperity. General Dwivedi stated unequivocally that the Indian Army is completely prepared to deal with any potential situation. He continued: “If Pakistan gives a chance, we will teach it how to behave responsibly with a neighbouring nation” .

General Dwivedi emphasized the shifting character of modern conflict, stating that wars are now multi-domain. “We can’t say how long it will last. We need to make sure we have enough supplies to last,” the Army chief stated. He stated that any impediment placed against India will elicit a strong response. According to him, the Army has made it plain that “talks and terror can’t go together” and that India simply wants a peaceful process, which it is willing to support.

Comments on China’s Border Situation

The Army Chief also addressed the latest events on the India-China border. He stated that considerable changes and improvements had occurred during the last year. Since October 1 of last year, leaders from both countries have had discussions and made numerous good actions. He recalled how, during a visit to the region, the Defence Minister emphasized the importance of deciding whether or not to melt the ice. Both sides agree that enhanced dialogue along the border will be beneficial.

Educational institutions such as colleges, IITs, and IIMs are quickly expanding, and the number of schools has increased by 21%.

General Dwivedi also stated that terrorism in the region had significantly decreased. He claimed that 31 militants and terrorists had been neutralised, 21 of whom were Pakistani. He noted that despite the Pahalgam event, the Amarnath Yatra had a large participation. “There are positive improvements taking place in Jammu and Kashmir. Incidents of stone pelting have completely halted in the region. “The attraction to India is growing, while the fascination with Pakistan is fading,” General Dwivedi observed.
