CBSE date sheet 2026 : Final date sheet for CBSE 2026 The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, has announced the final timetable for Class 10 and 12 board examinations in 2026. The tests will begin on February 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. (IST). The preliminary timetable was previously issued on September 24, 2025, allowing students and schools to prepare their preparations in advance.
This is the first time CBSE has released the final date sheet approximately 110 days before the exams, following the prompt submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) by schools. The early release is designed to help students, teachers, and families manage their schedules more successfully.
CBSE final date sheet incorporates student and teacher requirements.
While preparing the date sheet, CBSE ensured that there were appropriate pauses between two subjects that a student often offers. The program also includes entrance examinations for Class 12 pupils, allowing them to manage both board and competitive exams well.
The evaluation process has been carefully organized so that teachers from all topics will not be absent at the same time.
Furthermore, the date sheet eliminates over 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two examinations for the same student occur on the same day.
