CBSE CTET application 2026 : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) application procedure for 2026 will begin soon; applicants who wish to apply for CTET 2026 can do so through the official website- ctet.nic.in. CTET 2026 is set to take place on February 8, 2026.

CBSE CTET application 2026: How to Apply

  • Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.
  • Click the link that says “apply for CTET 2026”.
  • Complete the registration form and give all personal and academic information.
  • Select the exam center, paper (I, II, or both), and desired language.
  • Candidates must upload their passport-sized photo and signature in the proper format.
  • Now submit the form.
  • Download and print the confirmation paper.

CBSE CTET application fee for 2026

The application cost must be paid online. General and OBC candidates are charged Rs 1,000 for one paper and Rs 1,200 for both. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, one paper costs Rs 500 and both cost Rs 600.

CBSE CTET exam template 2026

The CTET exam is scheduled for December this year. CTET consists of two papers. Paper I is for applicants who wish to teach in grades I-V, whereas Paper II is for those who want to teach in grades VI-VIII. The exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and no negative marking.

CTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
