Iran Khuzestan US Strike : According to Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency, missiles struck three areas in Khuzestan province, killing seven people and injuring eight others. A security official from the Khuzestan governorate verified the casualties.
Missile strikes were also reported near the southwestern cities of Ahvaz and Aghajari. Iran’s public television IRIB said two locations near the cities had been hit.
The deputy head of security and law enforcement for Khuzestan stated that more information would be published later. Iranian officials identified the attacks as US strikes.

The IRIB said that missiles struck two places near Ahvaz and Aghajari. The attacks occurred as the United States continued its military operations against Iranian sites.

Iran’s IRNA news agency reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force reacted with a ballistic missile strike on Jordan’s Prince Hassan Air Base. It stated that the RQ-4 and MQ-9 drone hangars were attacked.
IRNA further claimed that several drones were destroyed and that multiple pilots and members of flight crews were killed. These claims were reported by Iranian state media and were not independently confirmed in the source information.
Houthis Warn Countries Hosting US Forces
The Houthi-run Foreign Ministry in Sanaa also responded to US attacks on Iran. It expressed support for Tehran and warned countries hosting US military forces that they could face repercussions.
In a statement broadcast by the Houthi-controlled Saba news agency, the ministry stated that US strikes will not diminish Iran’s resolve. It further stated that Iran has the right to reply under international law.
The government accused Washington of escalating regional tensions. It stated that the United States and countries who supported its military actions would have responsibility for the repercussions.
The Houthis also cautioned countries that let their country be used as a base for US strikes. According to the statement, those countries must face the consequences.
Trump Says US Has Control Over Strait of Hormuz
US President Donald Trump also addressed the subject in a Truth Social post. He said that the US had “almost total control” over the Strait of Hormuz and that Iran’s economy was failing.
Trump denied allegations that he was attempting to reopen negotiations with Iran. He stated that he was not interested in compelling Iran to return to the bargaining table.
The US president also pushed Iranians to confront their leadership, asking when they would “rise up and fight.”
The most recent exchanges come as military activity between the US and Iran continues, with allegations of strikes, missile attacks, and threats implicating countries throughout the area.
